Moving in the City of Kalamunda

The City of Kalamunda runs from the Darling Scarp down to the eastern edge of the Perth metropolitan area, with its council seat at Kalamunda. Local areas include Kalamunda, Lesmurdie, Gooseberry Hill, Walliston, Bickley, Carmel, Piesse Brook, Pickering Brook, Maida Vale, High Wycombe, Forrestfield and Wattle Grove.

I work across this area with Brookwood Realty.

Life in the City of Kalamunda

Kalamunda town has kept its village feel. The Kalamunda History Village is the largest folk museum in WA, and it sits next to the Zig Zag Cultural Centre. The farmers market runs in town every Sunday morning. Lesmurdie Falls and the Zig Zag Scenic Drive both give wide views over Perth.

Kalamunda is the northern end of the Bibbulmun Track, and the Kalamunda mountain bike trails and the Munda Biddi Trail are close by. A few minutes away, the Bickley Valley and Carmel have orchards, pick-your-own fruit in season, boutique wineries and cideries, plus the historic Perth Observatory. Down the hill, Forrestfield, High Wycombe and Wattle Grove are close to the airport and the train station at High Wycombe.

Planning a move in the City of Kalamunda? Start with a conversation. We talk about your property, your timing and your options, and I give you clear advice, including when waiting is the right call.

Every property I take on is photographed by me, with drone photography where it suits, so it is shown properly from the first day.
