Moving in the Shire of Northam
The Shire of Northam centres on the town of Northam in the Avon Valley. Local areas include Northam, Wundowie, Bakers Hill, Clackline, Grass Valley, Spencers Brook, Muresk, Irishtown, Katrine and Southern Brook.
I work across this area with Brookwood Realty.
Life in the Shire of Northam
Northam sits on the Avon River, a little over an hour from Perth along Great Eastern Highway. The town has many heritage-listed buildings, cafes and craft shops, and grassy picnic spots line the riverbank. A pedestrian suspension bridge crosses the river, where you can watch the white swans that early settlers brought to Northam.
Northam is the starting point of the Avon Descent each August, and hot air balloons are a common sight over the valley in the cooler months. Bilya Koort Boodja shares Noongar culture and stories of the night sky. Closer to the hills, Wundowie, Bakers Hill and Clackline sit on or near the highway between Chidlow and Northam.

Every property I take on is photographed by me, with drone photography where it suits, so it is shown properly from the first day.
